Hi! I'm Nora, a San Diego gal obsessed with storytelling and everything outdoors. In January 2023, I was working what I thought was my "dream job" as en employment rights attorney in San Francisco...that was until major burnout combined with ending my 5-year relationship lead me to my breaking point and I made the HUGE decision to quit my job and leave the country on a one-way ticket.
I've been traveling full-time ever since, focusing on lesser-known, off-the-beaten-path destinations, my favorites being Georgia (the country), Pakistan, and Montenegro. I've found that the nature, culture, and history people seek in tourist hot spots often exist elsewhere—without the crowds or high prices. What makes those places unforgettable, though, are the people. The conversations, connections, and shared moments with both locals and fellow travelers are what truly stay with me and what has kept me going.
That's why I created Via Adventure—to make it easy to explore hidden gems with curious, like-minded travelers from around the world and at budget-friendly prices. These are the kinds of adventures I can't wait to share with you. Let's explore beyond the norm together.
