Kenya – The Great Migration

Touch down Kenya’s bustling capital, where you’ll be greeted and transferred to our accommodation. Meet your fellow travelers over dinner and take care of essentials like SIM cards and cash withdrawals before our adventure begins!

Start the day with a sunrise safari through Nairobi National Park, one of the only places where you can spot wildlife with a city skyline in the background. Then, visit the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, where you’ll see rescued baby elephants and rhinos during their daily feeding and mud bath.

After lunch at a local spot, we’ll visit Kobe Bead Factory, a women-owned cooperative crafting handmade jewelry. End the day with an African dance class, where we’ll learn traditional moves and let loose!

After breakfast, we’ll drive into the legendary Masai Mara, home to some of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. On our way. we'll pass through the Great Rift Valley - one of the largest valley's in the world stretching all the way from the Middle East to Mozambique. Get you cameras ready for some epic views!

Upon arrival, we'll settle into our lodge near the National Park where you might even spot elephants or giraffes from your window! In the early evening, we’ll visit a local Masai village, learning about their culture, traditions, and way of life.

Today, we set out early for a sunrise game drive, hoping to spot the Big Five (lions, leopards, elephants, rhinos, and water buffalo) as well as thousands of migrating wildebeest. We’ll spend the day exploring Masai Mara’s vast landscapes, stopping for a scenic picnic lunch in the park.

Expect incredible wildlife encounters and unforgettable moments in one of the world’s greatest safari destinations.

We’ll leave Masai Mara after breakfast, traveling through the Great Rift Valley to reach Lake Naivasha. Once there, we’ll board boats and cruise toward our home for the next 2 nights: Crescent Island, a unique wildlife sanctuary where zebras, giraffes, and antelopes roam freely—no predators here!

Spend the afternoon relaxing in our lakeside villa or exploring the island on foot

After breakfast, we’ll take a boat back to the mainland and head to Hell’s Gate National Park. Here, we’ll bike alongside zebras, giraffes, baboons, and many other animals through the park’s stunning landscapes.

This area inspired Disney’s The Lion King, and an optional short hike will take you to the gorge’s dramatic cliffs with breathtaking views. After lunch, we’ll return to our island retreat for a relaxing evening.

Enjoy a slow morning before hopping in the vans and heading back to Nairobi to Nairobi to catch the scenic train to Mombasa. The journey takes us through Tsavo National Park, offering a chance to spot elephants, zebras, and other wildlife from the window. After arriving in Mombasa, we’ll continue to Watamu, a stunning coastal town known for its white sand beaches and turquoise waters making it the perfect place to round out our trip!

Wake up in paradise! Today is yours to enjoy Watamu at your own pace. Relax on the pristine beaches, get a massage, or try out adventure sports like kitesurfing, snorkeling, paddleboarding, or wakeboarding. Our private beachside villa is just minutes from the ocean, making it the perfect spot to unwind.

Another free day to soak up the sun or explore this beach paradise. Try local seafood, visit marine conservation projects, or simply enjoy the ocean breeze. In the evening, we’ll gather for a sunset happy hour overlooking Mida Creek, a perfect way to celebrate our time in Kenya.

Those feeling adventurous will head to the beach in the early morning for the sunrise before meeting back at the accommodation for one last breakfast.

Afterwards, we’ll drive toward Mombasa with an optional stop in Kilifi, a laid-back beach town known for its wide beaches and kitesurfing spots. In the afternoon, we’ll take the train back to Nairobi, once again passing through Tsavo National Park, with chances to see wildlife. We’ll reach Nairobi by 8:30 PM, where you can either fly out or spend one last night with the group (accommodation included).

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Embrace and say your see-you-later’s to your new friends on the trip before being dropped off at the airport to continue onto your next journey. We will miss you <3
